Sensible Shoes

Yesterdays Portland Women's Expo wasn't quite what I expected. I met several new people and shopped the vendors, also got to visit with my friend Candi who was participating as a vendor for Gigi Hill Bags. (I am her best customer!) But as a vendor I have learned the Expo Center is not my venue of choice. Oh, and that I should probably invest in some comfortable yet stylish shoes for future vendor shows. The hard concrete of the Expo Center and the gym room floor on Saturday have not been kind to my poor feeties. I had to crawl up the stairs of my to get into bed last night.

I have more phone calls to make today and need to prepare for next weekend. It's my first Holiday Bazaar of the season! I will be at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Portland  for their 4th annual My Friends and More Holiday Bazaar. October 19th from 4pm to 8pm and 20th from 10am to 4pm. There will be many booths to shop, snacks, food, and raffle.

Onion Festival

The event today was a success, and lots of fun. I got to meet so many new people who love Partylite  and saw several familiar faces as well. I am getting ready for another event tomorrow at the Portland Women's Expo.

Busy busy!

Preparing for my busy season!

Tomorrow begins a long string of weekend festivals, expo's, bazaars and parties for my business. Today I set up a booth at our towns annual Onion Festival, were I was invited by the coordinator (a consultant from another company, who I have worked beside at a few local events) to participate at the towns annual Car Show in the spring. I have been hesitant to participate at the local events because the fees seem so high, however, I am finding out that the reason the vendor fees are so high, is that these events have been going on for 20+ years, and are popular with much more then just local folks. So that makes them much me likely to be successful.

At any rate, I will have a back table full of fall/winter display pieces, and a front table full of retired products and candles (current and retired scents). Hoping this weekend will be a major success!

Three years later

Still a Partylite Consultant!!! Holy Moly, how everything else has changed! Well, even my business has changed, it has grown so much in the past three years. In September I celebrated my third anniversary with Partylite. I took a break over spring/summer (something I have done every year) and as always was warmly welcomed back my leader and fellow consultants. I am part of such an amazing team of consultants, and leaders, and my hosts and customers are the best!  Thanks in part to their welcome, encouragement and generosity my business has once again exploded! In September I had a personal best in sales, earned a free product from the 2013 line, and was thisclose to earning my very first bonus check! Not to mention all the deals, discounts, and FREE PRODUCT I was able to offer my customers and hosts. I am busy every weekend clear into December! And I love that no matter how busy I get there is always room for more parties, orders, trainings, AND not take away time with my family.
